Today I didn’t stand on my shoulders or head or hands.
Today I wasn’t a warrior and didn’t fight anything.
Today I wasn’t a beautiful bird of paradise or even a crow.
Today I wasn’t even a goddess, oh no.
Today our yoga was what we needed, a few deep breaths and a moment of peace.
That was enough… our glasses were full again.
Don’t let your own restrictions dampen your yoga spirit. Yoga with new babies is hard. So every 30 seconds (or even less) counts. Don’t wait for that elusive hour.
Bring your breath to attention and let the rest just follow… your baby will soon respond and become an integral part of your practice.
Yoga takes time… give it your time. The rest will follow.
